Wells Packard
Creative and technical innovator, Wells Packard, has created numerous rich media interactives that have been enjoyed by millions of people around the world. In addition to considerable artistic talent, Wells' engineering abilities are exhibited in his technically superior and user-friendly museum kiosks, CD-ROMs, ad banner campaigns, and online games. His ability to use rich media to its full potential, enables Wells to create sales opportunities for clients across an extraordinarily range of channels. In addition to receiving accolades from his clients, Wells has won many major industry awards for his work including the Cannes International Advertising Festival's Cyber Lion Award, the Clio Interactive Award, the International Web Page Awards, The One Show and ID Magazine's New Media Award. Wells provides unparalleled interactive experiences that enable clients to teach consumers about both simple and complex concepts in a clear and entertaining way. Wells joined KathodeRay in 2003.
Wells has taught Computer Art and Interactive Programming on the graduate and undergraduate levels for over 13 years at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and has been a guest lecturer at Cooper Union. In addition, from 2004-2007, Wells taught Game Design at New York University, and is currently teaching Game Design at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
