Greenville is one of the oldest incorporated rural valley towns in Greene County, NY. While other towns in the county are experiencing economic growth, Greenville, however, faces challenges attracting new visitors, residents, and businesses. We created a brand that encapsulates Greenville's life-style, business climate, and community. Then, we rolled out this new brand into a ADA-compliant website. The new website provides easy access to town information, events and services.

In January 2021, KathodeRay Media was awarded a contract to transform the brand presence of a municipal department, engaging its target audiences with intuitive, memorable and elegant implementations of its specific programs, services, and community interactions. Our approach was to create a master brand for these efforts with the common key element of 'Commerce' and three supporting sub-brands for each of the department's focus areas.

In 2019, the Greene County Legislature created the Greene County Economic Development Corporation. For this organization, our targets are larger employers and destination businesses. We also need to attract owners of existing businesses who are seeking to relocate or expand. Greene County's core message is their communities are Affordable, Beautiful and Commutable. The website is simple and easy to us. It helps site selectors and developers find information to choose a location.

In 2008, Greene County partnered with KathodeRay to create a buy local campaign. The campaign promoted local businesses to our residents and second homeowners. We started with a memorable logo and message and then to support and track the effort, we deployed a website. Finally to engage the public we produced supporting collateral and advertising.

The Town of Cairo, NY wanted to attract new residents and business to their town. To do this we started by making information easier to access on their website. We branded the Town of Cairo as "The Gateway to the Catskills". We then launched a social media campaign targeting the New York City metro area.
